Breaking News in the Caribbean: Sandals in Antigua to close for five months

The Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union has received notice that the Sandals Grande Antigua will close for up to five months beginning in September.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Tourism Minister Asot Michael were reportedly informed on July 13th.
The announcement comes following news that the Veranda Resort and Spa is to close between August 13th to October 13th.
