It is so easy to get married in Saint Lucia! There is no residency period, so you can have a Caribbean wedding and start that Caribbean honeymoon within 24hrs of arrival as long as you apply for a Special Marriage License and you have all the necessary, original documentation.

Ease into Wedded Bliss

Getting married in Saint Lucia couldn’t be easier because there is no residency period. You can apply for a marriage license two days before the date of marriage at a fee of US$125, or the same day for a higher fee of US$200. Standard documentation is required:
Passport, Birth certificate & decree absolute (if one of the parties is divorced)
A death certificate of first spouse (in the case of a widow/widower
A deed poll (if the name has been changed)
A sworn affidavit of consent stamped by a Notary Public if one of the parties is under age 18
An authenticated translation if required documents are not in English
In the meantime, you and your wedding organizer will be busy planning the most memorable day of your life.

Many of the hotels have dedicated wedding coordinators whose sole aim is to make your day run as smoothly and as stress-free as possible. They are happy to organize the music, catering, cake, flowers, and even Best Man if needed! Wedding and honeymoon packages are also available at the hotels, which can include fruit and flower baskets on arrival, commemorative champagne glasses, a sunset catamaran cruise or a private candlelit dinner on a secluded beach.
